Special Order Items
If the item you are purchasing is described as a "Special Order" item and / or it shows the quantity in stock as 900+ then it is not physically in stock at our main location or at any of our picking warehouses, but it IS available from the manufacturer or wholesaler. An approximate delivery time will usually be be posted on the individual item page, or you may be directed to this page to check current delivery times. Below you will find the Special Order delivery times for most items on our site. If you do not see what you are looking for let us know and we will get that information for you.
Your credit card will be charged at the time the
order is placed on all special order items unless otherwise noted. On some items
if so listed, a partial payment is OK with the balance due when the item is
ready to ship.
Nightforce Special Order Delivery Times -
The Current Build Time at Nightforce is approx. 7 weeks.
Your scope will be placed in the build queue within two business days of placing your order unless you are notified otherwise. Once it has been built, allow for the shipping time from Nightforce to us which runs 3-6 business days before it will ship to you. These are NOT guaranteed time frames but most orders will fit this schedule.
Payment is due and your credit card will be charged when the order is placed. If the build time when you place your order is longer than 4 weeks then we will charge $300 now, or whatever amount over $300 you request, and the balance when it is ready to ship. If paying by check / money order, be aware that some models will require the $300 deposit, before the scope is placed on order at Nightforce due to low demand configurations. We will notify you if that is the case. Depending on the model and reticle chosen, cancellation of a special order scope once payment or the deposit has been posted and the scope has been placed in the build queue at Nightforce may be subject to a maximum cancellation fee of $300. US Optics Special Order Delivery Times
Current build time for all US Optics scopes is 20 weeks+. A 1/2 Down deposit is required before your order will be placed with US Optics. Cancellation of a special order scope once it has been placed in the build queue at US Optics, will require forfeiture of your 50% deposit.
UltraMag 50 BMG Uppers - 4-6 week build time
Ferret 50 - 50 BMG Uppers - Contact us - Normally about 1 week.
Swarovski Special Order Scopes - Allow about 2 weeks from when you place your order.
All other Special Order Items -

Inventory Quantity Available
Each item page will show the "Quantity Available" just below the model number and the price. Some items will show 900+ in stock. These are special order items. If the quantity is under 50 then that item is shown in real time and is updated instantly when an item is sold. If the quantity shows 0 (zero) or a negative number such as -1, it is out of stock but can be backordered. On most items, unless noted on the item page, we will try to ship within 2-3 business days or less of when you place your order.
Special Order Item Quantity
If the item you are purchasing is described as "Special Order" and / or shows 900 + in stock under the Qty column or next to the "Units in Stock" text on the item page, then it is a special order item and will be special ordered when you place your order. If the delivery time will be longer than 2 weeks, or longer than the estimated time on this page or on the item page, we will notify you before processing your order.
Out of Stock Quantity - Backorders
If the quantity shows 0 (zero) or a negative number such as -1, then that item is not currently available. You can place a backorder if you wish. You will be notified as to the estimated time frame to fill that back order before your credit card is charged. On some items an estimated delivery date will be shown on the item page or on this page..
If an item ends up not being available for some unforeseen reason, your credit card will not be charged and you will be asked if you want to keep it on order or cancel the order. Once the item is confirmed as in stock at one of our suppliers and has been ordered for you, your card will be charged. If paying by check or money order, items will not be shipped until payment has arrived and has cleared. Some items will not be ordered until your payment arrives. Inventory Status / Updates Notification by Email
You can set a notification for out of stock items that will alert you by email when it is back in stock. Click on the green check mark icon shown on every item page, for each item you for which would like to receive notification of stock or price changes.
You may also contact us to find out when it is due, or
check back later, as inventory is updated several times a day. Once you you have
created an account with us (you can set up an account for free with no purchase
required), you can set product notification which will email you when the item
Unless otherwise noted we try to ship all orders within 2-3 business days from when you place your order, usually the same or the next day. If you don't see an extended shipping time on the individual item page, then it should ship out to you within that 2-3 business days time frame. We will notify you if it will take longer than that.
Sometimes an error in the inventory system will occur, so
if an item was showing as in stock with no extended shipping time, but it ends
up not being available for some unforeseen reason, your credit card will not be
charged and you will be asked if you want to keep it on order or cancel the
order. Once the item is confirmed as in stock at one of our suppliers and has
been ordered for you, your card will be charged.
